The GEMS Course Renewal is the newest addition to the GEMS program. It is designed to incorporate a combination of classroom and on-site skills components for the provider who wants to expand his or her knowledge of prehospital care for older adults, and for the provider who wants to renew his or her American Geriatrics Society GEMS Course Completion Card. The GEMS Course Renewal reviews material presented in the initial GEMS Course and offers the opportunity for providers to refresh hands-on skills.
