This is the web site for GEMS, or Geriatric Education for Emergency Medical Services. Developed by the American Geriatrics Society and the National Council of State EMS Training Coordinators, GEMS is an exciting curriculum designed specifically to help EMS providers address all of the special needs of the older population.

GEMS, Second Edition is now available, published in partnership with the AGS and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). Course Coordinators have until August 31, 2015 to transition to the Second Edition. For information about the administration of the Second Edition, please visit the NAEMT web site.
